Resolutions vs. Goals

Now that the ritual of making personal New Year’s resolutions is out of the way, we can get back to the business of setting goals for community impact.

Nonprofits interested in engaging with peers and exploring collaborative technical assistance can get their goal-setting fix – and some lunch at the same time – by attending the February 2 “Setting Goals” TAP Talk. Attendance is already close to capacity, so those interested in experiencing a flexible and effective action planning tool firsthand should register now.

  1. Is the Bioethics Webinar on January 25th 2012 about end of life patients with a physically painful and debilitating illness like cancer who make an unsuccessful suicide attempt or is it about someone who may be physically healthy, but has a mental illness such as chronic depression, and tries to commit suicide but is unsuccessful?

  2. Joanne – It is likely that both types of cases will be addressed during the webinar, and certainly participants can bring these questions to the discussion. (These comments actually apply to the Ethics and Suicide post and not to the Resolutions vs. Goals post.)
